Title: Weird gathering at the town park last night . Anyone else see this?

Not sure if this is even worth posting, but it’s been stuck in my head all day.

Last night, around 11:30 PM, I was driving home past Holloway Park. I noticed a bunch of people, at least 40 or 50, standing around near the bandstand. No lights, no music, no talking. Just… standing.

I thought maybe it was a vigil or something. You know, after everything lately with the elections, the AI crash, and that solar flare making the news. But it wasn’t like that. No signs. No candles. No one saying anything.

They were just listening.

I know that sounds dumb, but that’s the only way I can describe it. They were standing really still, facing different directions, and it was like they were all waiting for something or maybe hearing something I couldn’t.

I parked down the street and watched for about 15 minutes. No one moved. Not a word. It wasn’t creepy exactly… but it made the hair on my arms stand up.

Then, just as quietly as they gathered, they started drifting away. No big finish, no announcement. Some walked off alone, some in little groups. A few just stood there a while longer before leaving.

I don’t know if anyone else saw it. The local paper didn’t mention anything this morning. But it’s been bothering me in that weird way dreams do.

Anyway. Just wondering if anyone else was there or knows what it was about.
