Since at least 2023, a cluster of deaths and disappearances involving individuals connected to sensitive U.S. research programs — nuclear technology, aerospace, advanced materials, rocket propulsion, and in some cases areas linked to UAP studies — has drawn increasing public attention and official scrutiny.

In April 2026 the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform formally requested information from the Department of Energy, Department of Defense, NASA, and the FBI regarding these cases. The FBI has confirmed it is reviewing whether any of the incidents are connected.

This is an active working file. It documents publicly reported cases, official statements, and the questions that remain open. No conclusions are drawn. The work continues as new information becomes available.

Official Context

April 20, 2026 – House Oversight Committee letters sent to multiple federal agencies seeking details on the deaths and disappearances of personnel with access to sensitive scientific information.
April 21–23, 2026 – The FBI states it is actively reviewing the cases for possible connections.
President Trump has publicly described the situation as “pretty serious stuff” and indicated the administration is looking into it.

Documented Cases (Public Reporting Only)

The following individuals are among those most frequently cited in media coverage and congressional interest (this is not an exhaustive list). Additional details from family statements or lesser-publicized context are noted where relevant.

Retired Air Force Maj. Gen. William “Neil” McCasland – Disappeared February 27, 2026 from his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Former commander of the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson AFB. Left behind his phone, glasses, and other personal items. Search ongoing. His wife has publicly noted prior short-term memory issues, anxiety, and a belief he may have “planned not to be found.”
Monica Reza (Monica Jacinto Reza) – Aerospace engineer with ties to NASA JPL and Aerojet Rocketdyne. Disappeared while hiking in Angeles National Forest, California, on June 22, 2025. Never located.
Dr. Carl Grillmair – Astrophysicist collaborating with NASA on exoplanet research. Shot and killed on his porch in February 2026. His widow has described the shooting as stemming from a localized neighborhood dispute rather than research-related motives; a suspect was arrested.
Amy Eskridge – Founder, Institute for Exotic Science (anti-gravity / exotic propulsion research). Died June 11, 2022 (ruled suicide by gunshot). Frequently cited in the cluster due to her work and prior safety concerns.

Additional reported cases involve personnel affiliated with Los Alamos National Laboratory, MIT fusion research, pharmaceutical research with defense implications, and other specialized programs. Some reports reference 10–12 total incidents when including deaths ruled as natural causes, suicides, or homicides with identified perpetrators. Official investigations emphasize that many of these cases may ultimately prove unrelated.

Patterns Noted in Public Reporting

Many (though not all) individuals had access to classified or highly specialized technical knowledge.
Several cases involve sudden disappearance without obvious motive or signs of struggle.
Temporal clustering appears in 2025–early 2026.
Fields of research frequently mentioned: nuclear, aerospace, advanced propulsion/materials.

Deeper Hypotheses & Lesser-Known Threads

While official probes focus on possible espionage or coincidence, some researchers and primary documents point to broader speculative frameworks, including ultraterrestrial or timeline-related interpretations.

Amy Eskridge’s 2021 Email on “Timeline Wars” (released posthumously via Franc Milburn): Eskridge, whose own 2022 death is frequently cited in the cluster, explicitly linked patterns of scientist deaths to future-human influences and atmospheric/chemical cataclysms. She noted that targets were often biologists, climatologists, and materials scientists—not just physicists—whose work could affect evolutionary divergence or prevention of a shift that produces “grey”-like entities. Excerpt: “The greys are from the future… evolved after the cataclysm… The BIGGEST issue isn’t propulsion tech. It’s chemistry and biology… A timeline war is unconventional warfare…”
Broader historical “dead scientists” lists (spanning 20+ years) sometimes referenced in niche discussions include non-physics fields, echoing Eskridge’s framing.
